This guide explains how to access and use CUHKSZ VAPP virtual applications on a Mac.

Standard VAPP Procedure for Mac / VAPP 标准操作步骤（Mac 专用）

Step 1: Open VAPP from the desktop shortcut / 步骤 1：双击桌面 VAPP 快捷方式，自动进入官网

Locate the pre-installed VAPP shortcut on the desktop. This shortcut is the designated entry point, so you do not need to enter the website address manually.

在电脑桌面找到预置的 VAPP 快捷启动图标。 该图标为 VAPP 操作入口，无需手动输入网址。

Double-click the VAPP shortcut. The system will automatically open the default browser and redirect you to the official VAPP login page:

直接双击桌面 VAPP 快捷方式，系统会自动调用默认浏览器， 跳转至 VAPP 官方登录网址：

The desktop includes a pre-installed VAPP shortcut for direct access.

电脑桌面预置 VAPP 快捷启动图标，可通过该图标直接进入系统。

Step 2: Log in to the VAPP website with your campus account / 步骤 2：使用校园账号登录 VAPP 网页端

The login page displays the campus security policy and an account login window. Enter your account information in the required format:

VAPP 登录页面会显示校园安全策略提示及账号登录窗口。 请按以下规范填写账号信息：

• Domain account / 域账号： cuhksz\Campus ID / cuhksz\校园学号或账号
• Password / 密码： Your campus account password / 个人校园账号密码

After confirming that you agree to comply with the campus security policy, click Log in.

确认遵守校园安全策略后，点击【登录】。

Step 3: Select an application and download the RDP file / 步骤 3：选择应用并下载 RDP 远程连接文件

After logging in, the page displays all virtual applications authorized for your campus account. Available applications may include Adobe Photoshop, MATLAB, Firefox, Tencent QQ, WeChat, Acrobat DC, and other tools.

登录成功后，页面会显示当前校园账号获授权使用的虚拟软件。 可用应用可能包括 Adobe Photoshop、MATLAB、Firefox、腾讯 QQ、 微信及 Acrobat DC 等工具。

Click the application you want to use. The browser will automatically download a remote connection file with the .rdp extension. By default, the file is saved in the Mac Downloads folder.

根据使用需求点击对应软件。浏览器将自动下载后缀为 .rdp 的远程连接文件。该文件默认保存在 Mac 的 “下载（Downloads）”文件夹中。

The page displays the virtual applications currently available to your account.

页面展示当前账号获授权使用的虚拟应用。

Step 4: Import the RDP file into Microsoft Remote Desktop / 步骤 4：通过 Microsoft Remote Desktop 导入 RDP 文件

macOS cannot open the RDP file directly. Use Microsoft Remote Desktop to import and run it:

macOS 无法直接打开 RDP 文件，需要通过 Microsoft Remote Desktop 加载运行：

1. Open the installed Microsoft Remote Desktop application. Open the Mac Downloads folder, and drag the downloaded .rdp file into the blank area of the Microsoft Remote Desktop window.
   打开已安装的 Microsoft Remote Desktop 软件以及 Mac 的“下载”文件夹， 将已下载的 .rdp 文件直接拖拽至 Microsoft Remote Desktop 软件的空白窗口。
2. The application will automatically recognize the file and save it as a remote application or device entry. The connection configuration is then complete.
   软件会自动识别该文件，并将其保存为远程应用或设备条目， 至此完成连接导入配置。

Step 5: Verify your account and start the remote application / 步骤 5：验证账号并启动远程应用

Double-click the saved remote entry in Microsoft Remote Desktop. A Windows security verification window will appear.

双击 Microsoft Remote Desktop 中已保存的远程条目， 系统会弹出 Windows 安全验证窗口。

Enter the following information:

请填写以下信息：

• Username / 用户名： Your Campus ID / 个人校园学号或账号
• Password / 密码： Your campus account password / 个人校园账号密码

Click OK or Confirm to establish the remote connection and start the selected virtual application.

点击【确定】或【确认】， 即可建立远程连接并启动所选虚拟应用。

The CUHKSZ domain verification window is the standard login interface for the remote connection.

CUHKSZ 域名验证窗口为远程连接的标准登录界面。
