The library uses central Air Conditioning systems managed by the University's Facilities Management Department.

The air conditioning system only has the cooling mode. As a result, the temperature in the library could not be adjusted in winter.

In summer, the room temperature within all university buildings is set to be around 24~26°C to balance user comfort and energy efficiency. You may check the thermometer placed on each floor.

Normally, the air conditioning system will be turned on around early March and turned off around mid-December, based on the temperature change of the year.

Meanwhile, the central ventilation system in the library is always turned on throughout the year to ensure an optimum exchange of air in the building.
