To download the EndNote (Download Location: Library Sharepoint), you 

  • For Mac OS users
    • Download the dmg file to install. No additional license keys are required.
  • For Windows users
    • Download msi and license.dat and put them together in one folder. (Do not just leave them on your Desktop.) Double click msi file to install. No additional license keys are required.
    • NOTE: if you re-download either of these files, please check whether the name changes or not before installing.

Because EndNote contains Microsoft Office plugins, you need to close your Word, Excel, and other Office software to successfully install EndNote.
