Do I need to login to CNKI to download the resources?


You do not need to log in to access resources on CNKI.

Campus Network connection (on campus) or Campus VPN (off campus) is necessary. Please check your Internet connection if you have problems accessing the database. You should make sure that all personal VPNs are disconnected. 

If you still have a problem accessing the Database after changing the network connection, please clear the browser cache and try again.



  1. The WAYFLess URL (institutional login) does not work on CNKI anymore. 
  2. The server address for staff has been changed to for accessing Library resources from off-campus since April 18th, 2019. When you refer to the PDF instructions, please change the server address.
