The renewal process for items in our library is as follows:
When you renew a item by clicking "Renew," the new due date is set to one entire loan period from the time of the renewal.
For example, if an undergraduate student borrowed a General Collection on July 1st (one loan period of 28 days), the due date would be July 29th. If the student clicks on the "Renew" on July 2nd, the new due date would be July 30th, and so on.

As long as a book has not been requested by another user or recalled by the library, it can be renewed for the maximum loan period.
