Overleaf is an online LaTeX editor that supports international language typesetting and collaboration. With a professional account, you can enjoy more features such as unlimited collaborators, full project history, and priority support.

The library has purchased the professional version of Overleaf, which allows readers to register an account using their university email address and upgrade to a professional user. To upgrade your account, please follow the steps below:

  1. Visit the following link to access the Overleaf access page of our University: https://www.overleaf.com/edu/cuhk-shenzhen
  2. On the access page, click on sign in if you already have an account registered with your university email address, or sign up if you do not.
    • Sign up for your account if you haven't registered yet, and then log in to your CUHK-Shenzhen email account and open the confirmation email from Overleaf. Click on Confirm Email to verify your email address.
    • Sign in to your account if you have already registered, and resend the confirmation email in the account settings to get email verification.
  3. Once you have verified your email address, click on Go to Account Settings in the confirmation email. You will see a green label with Professional next to your email address on the Account Settings page. This means that you have successfully upgraded your account to the professional version.

Note: Do not use the institutional login option, and do not click Try Premium when registering the new account.
