It is unacceptable to make any marks on library books for any purposes. If you have marked the book, you need to remove the marks before you return the book to the library.
If the marks cannot be removed, you may be charged a fee, depending on the actual situation.
Fee that may be financed in this case:
Rebinding/repair charges for items returned damaged = replacement fee + ¥50.00 (process fee)
